Mend Briggs & Stratton Spring Mower Back

I have a spring and a lever on my mower that I cannot get to fit back on?

I am trying to put my mower back together after replacing a gasket on the carborator and I have a lever and a spring that I am not sure where they connect. Can you help. This is a Briggs & Straton push mower.

do as bg suggests only take a digital camera along with you, you can take snaps of all types of mowers and their connections. Then even if your exact model is not there you can work out roughly what should go where etc.

Its proably the spring for the governor ...go to a local Lowes or lawnmover shop and look at one of their models and you`ll see how it goes back on ...should be wear marks where it was at
Lawn mover shop can show you a picture of it ....can proably find one on the internet under what type mover you have and model
