Mend Whirlpool AWO 3761 Flashing Red Machine

Whirlpool awo 3761 door locked flashing?

The red 'door locked' is flashing, which usually means the door is not shut properly and machine will not start. All sounds and looks fine until about 30 seconds after start up. On repeated checking the door IS shut and the filter is clear. Any suggestions please?
