Mend Honeywell Accenta mini 8 Alarm Tamper Security

How can I fix my accenta mini 8?

How can I fix my Accenta mini 8's constant red light under the tamper heading in the control panel. I am having building work done just now and although the alarm was not set this morning it went off. I now have a flashing light outside my house. Please help.

sounds like your builders have damaged one of your cables for a temp measure open the control power down mains and battery and fit a wire link across the 24 hour tamper terminals and also another link between - and tr of the control power the control back up mains and battery and reset the control with your access code. this will get your system working again but remember you have disabled all tampers on the system get in touch with an alarm engineer and ask him to find the tamper fault most people with a little electrical knowledge could also find the fault for you let me know if this solved your problem paul84842005@yahoo.co.uk good luck
