Hiya Dave, If you click on www.rebatt.co.uk they should give you details of how much it would cost to have new cells for this type of battery. I've got the same problem and B & Q do have some in stock but warning you may have to travel miles to find ONE. I find it disqusting that B & Q are no longer doing this type of battery and caution it is not cheap either to have cells replaced either. Best bet mate take it to a car boot and watch someone else find the damn batteries. This is so much for "Progress" in an "environmentally friendly world" we live in, we can't find replacement batteries

Could you please give more detail, eg which ryobi battery and how to change cases, is just a case of undoing screws and swapping terminals over, with care.

We have ordered the equivalent replacement for the ryobi, and carefully swapped the cases with a little care this works, just be careful not to break the contacts as you have to turn the top battery around.
