Diplomat Dishwasher ADP 8322 continuous beeping and 4 flashes?

My Diplomat Dishwasher ADP 8322 goes through its program sometimes but most times stops early - but at the end it always continuously beeps and the right hand light flashes 4 times. I've cleaned out the water sensor in the sump and checked out the whole input pump/heater assembly but still no joy any advice greatly appreciated.
By the way my inlet hose got split and on removing the whole right hand pump assembly all of those awful metal pretend jubilee clips now leak and I've had to put lots of jubilee clips in and munufacture a new hose myself (hands are cut to pieces on these tray edges - joy)
