Mend NEFF S6409N2GB/14 Dishwasher Rinse Sensor

NEFF DishWasher S6409N2GB/14 FDS211/230065?

My DW seems to have too little water in the final rinse cycle. The pump keeps working but no water to pump around. Also recently had too much water left in at the end of the cycle.
I have run cleaners through it but still teh same problem. Water flow to machine OK.
Does a sensor need replacing/cleaning?

Got it fixed by professional yesterday. Turned out that the sump hose was partially blocked. Hope this helps someone else.
