Mend Zanussi ZWF 1011W Washing Machine Door Lock Mechanism

Door on Zanussi ZWF 1011W wont close?

i have the above machine and the door is very hard to close and was very difficult to open the last time. I have opened it up and removed the lock mechanism and had a look at it and put it back in, it looked fine. the catch on the door itself looks ok too.
