vauxhall astra estate 1999 model?

how can i get my rear door open on a vauxhall astra central locking unit has been removed from this door i have removed doorpanel from nearside door but still wont open using iether small pull up lever or tried door handle from outside of car but no result as to thinking that child safety lock was on is there anyway to get this door open at all vauxhall astra estate 1999 1.6 8 valve club model thanks if you can help
