I have a valliant 242E Boiler and am having to refill the system once every 3 or 4 days due to loss of pressure can anyone help. I read an article which suggested that it could be the pressure release valve.
Check the pressure relief exit which should be a short pipe outside somewhere if its wet or dripping then its either faulty (normally a bit of muck on the rubber cap) or the pressure vessel is causing the pressure to build and blow out. also check for leaks on the system could be anywhere. if its none of them you could have a pin hole in the heat exchanger
