Monitor is dead?

Can someone please help . The Monitor light on the front keeps flashing blue then orange and the screen does not come on at all. The cpu unit makes the usual little noises when you start it up. I have checked all the leads everything thing seams fine. The worring thing is the electricity went off has it burnt something out
