If we're over enthusiastic with cleaning we sometimes get our oven set on Auto - to get back to manual I cycle the electric power off and on so the clock flashes - then depress and hold in buttons 2 & 3 from the left and at the same time set the clock - any time will do. Hope your timer control works the same...
