My Ariston AWD12 washer dryer not staying on programme?
When I set my washer on a programme it seems to start ok then it just clicks round all the programmes without commencing on the wash I selected. Is it worth repairing as it is a few years old.
Mine does this if something like a coin is blocking it. Remove the small panel on the front at the bottom of the machine. On the right hand side unscrew the catcher and check inside for anything - you will need a towel because a pint or so of water will run out. Remove any debris and replace.

Could be a defective controller & these are usually expensive. If the machine is rather dated it might be time to consider replacing it.
