Is there an issue with chain oil leaking on a Husqvarna 235e?

Why does the chain oil ecape and cause dust and debris to clog under the brake cover of my relatively new 235e? The cover does not fit snugly against the body of the saw at all contact points, and would therefore appear to be slightly warped. Could this be allowing oil to seep out before it reaches the bar? If so, is it something I've done or is there a known fault? The website where I bought the saw now carries a warning about taking the cover off with the brake engaged, so I'm suspicious that a number of people have been caught out failing to follow the correct procedure, and that an oil leak may be the result. There is no apparent damage other than the poor fit of the cover.

There will always be an amount of leakage from the tank after the saw has been left for a period of time, the oiling system is a constant loss type, onto the bar and gone, if the saw is only cutting small logs, the oiler is still delivering the same amount of oil as it would with a large log, the saw also still oils at idle, so never leave the saw idling on the floor when moving other logs. There was a later pick up/delivery pipe, this was more to keep the oil flowing, the main thing to worry about is that the chain is getting oil and not running dry.
