Hotpoint Aquarius WMA wont wash or spin?

i have been having similar problems, it makes sounds as if its going through the program but nothing happens then all the lights started to flash on the front. changed the pcb board after reading a post but it didn,t make a difference. a lot of posts seem to point to the carbon brushes being worn in the motor, i am going to change them and see how that goes. they were £6.95 on ebay. maybe this might be your problem as well
