how can i fix my lg re-44sz21rd?

i bought the tv, and was told i needed a new lamp. the lamp has been replaced but still i have no picture. it occasionally fires up and i get sound but still no picture, even then it will only stay on for a few minutes. other than tht i just get a flashing orange standby light. what can i do?
