Switch the ignition on till the radio lights up (no need to start the car).
If you have your code then keep pressing button1 until the first number of your code comes up, move on to button 2 and get the second number of the code up; do the same with buttons 3 & 4. When you have loaded the numbers in press button 5 this will store the code.
