Sanyo Widescreen TV CS32WN5:B Switches itself to standby whilst watching?

I have inherited a Sanyo 32" Widescreen TV, model CE32WN5:B, which has just started switching itself to standby, and then back on, whilst watching the TV. It's been working fine, until it started doing this a number of times within a couple of hours.
