could anyone help me with my glow worm 18sxi boiler. it is running at 2.5 bar and apparantly it should be 1. any idea how i can get the pressure down,

can be done from the boiler ? but you could use a drain off cock on the bottom of rad pipework or with patience though a rad vent . why was it so high ?

Bleed water out of the radiators until the pressure comes down. It takes a while but doesn't upset the boiler.
