how can i fix my printer?

You do not say what type of printer it is, but assumining it is a ink jet or laser it will think that there is a paper jam if the paper does not move when the rollers turn, so I can only think that the rollers are too smooth and are skidding on the paper so rough them up a little with a piece of glass paper, with no paper in printer request a form feed and hold the glass paper against the rollers
