cbr 125 idle problem ?

bru i had the same problem i took it to three different machanics even took it to honda dealerships and it still wasn't right you know what i did i took the old fuel system out lines the works and sold it for spares took that money and bought a brand new fuel system and had a back yard 30year rider/machanic set the carb it works great 3 year running no problems

Hi we have been running these engines for grass karting for over 2 years, this problem is normally the rubber between the carb and cylinder head, although it may look in good condition replacing this will normally fix problem, cost should be about £8

done everything you mentioned about the carb but still wont idle used the idle scew and the revs come down but still cuts out could a cause be that ther is no hose clips on the hoses coming from the carb to the tank?

Firsty if you have just overhauled you need to run in before everything beds in and settles, That why most new bikes are pre run in, Its solves carb and engine running problems, Also if you have removed the carb and its contents its most likely you done one of 3 things, contaminated the idle needle which allows a certain amount of fuel through, Or contaminated the main jet, Or the fuel float could be stuck which is not allowing enough fuel into the carb, Also ensure your valve reeds have are not damaged or cracked, After sorting these out then screw your idle right in as well as your main throttle a quarter in then let run until engine warms right up before resetting and idle or main screw`s
