Why is the chain not moving?

I suspect that my auto clutch has failed.
Starts right up, the chain engages. As soon as I put it to the wood the chain stops moving. Is it worth repairing? I've gotten many great years of service out of it ( homelight XL) and even put a longer bar and chain on it.

If you can buy a replacement set of clutch shoes and springs, the repair is certainly viable.
