BLANK SCREEN?

I have a Packard Bell Easynote argo 1 laptop.Turned it on the other day for the first time in a while and after two minutes or so the screen went off and now it wont come on at all.The power lights are on but nothing else.Its running on Vista basic.Can anyone help me?
