Mend Dell Inspiron 6000 Key

fix key on dell inspiron 6000?

the g key has fallen off my dell inspiron 6000 laptop how can i fix it back on , the plastic clips underneath the key came off when the key came off, im not sure which way they clip back together,before the key can be fixed back on.

The key should be in two parts, the key cap and the white plastic mechanism. The mechanism clips into the keyboard first. It should only fit one way round. The key cap hooks in at one end (usually the bottom) and then clips in on the opposite side. To clip it in, just press it down with about as much pressure as you would use when pushing a plug into the wall.
