Mend Hotpoint WM24? Aquarius 1000 Machine

Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 WM24?

When I took the top off my machine I noticed that the drum is off centre. The two springs at the top are in situ and the drum is mounted on the two struts at the bottom. How do I get the drum to sit centrally?

You can't adjust the drum in that sense. If it is out of centre there is something sadly wrong. Most likely the shock absorbers are defective. Also worth checking to see if either of the springs has worn away its seat (where it hooks onto the drum)...not common but can happen.
