Mend Gainsborough 8.5 SCL Shower Pressure Install

gainsborough shower still cold after new engine install?

ok my gainsborough 8.5 scl started running cold, after reading forums i thought i should replace the whole engine.

it came i installed it but its still running cold.

heres what i have checked:

the hose and shower head are the originals and are not blocked
electric is getting to the shower and the isolater switch is coming on
also the white plunger is dropping so the water pressure must be ok

im lost to what could be the problem has anyone got any ideas
