zanussi washer overfilling?

there is an air chamber with a thin black pipe attached to it which goes to the pressure switch.the air chamber will be blocked up or the hose will be split/blocked.the chamber is sometimes part of the manifold (bit you screw the filter in to) and will need replacing complete or cleaning out.complete removal of the manifold from the machine might be needed to get easy access.
