wiring on ford focus egr?

i have a ford focus 1.6, 52 plate, just found out i have a hole in my exhaust flexi pipe, i now have a car that pulls off bad sometime and also when idle revs up and down, i now have engine codes po170 and p1131 are these codes related to this issue

need any help as had problem for a while and no one seems to know, im going round in cirlcles and i want to know if im wasting money getting flexi pipe, if problem will still be there
