tefal steam generator 2921?

my expensive tefal steam generator model 2921 started 2 weeks ago to produce steam without stopping to the ponit that all water tank is consumed within 5 minutes and the whole room is full of steam. It is obviously a steam generator problem. The Tefal Service is appalling, they wanted me to ship it to Birmingham at my own risk and then they 'll send me a quote but I'll be charged for the whole operation. it is 18 months old but even within this time it is unacceptable to break.No Tefal repair centre in my town (Canterbury) . Is there any help on that ?
