Pwer Supply Fault on Bush 26'' LCS TV?

thanks pecavi i'm only assuming its a trimpot .Its an almost new TV so it may be called something else .I could change components but wouldnt know how to test them

Well you have two componets to replace at least - Power supplies rarely have trim pots although things may have changed since I last tinkered with a telly.

The capacitor should have the rating printed on it - if you're lucky the pot might give a clue to its specification.

A circuit diagram and test equipment will help.
