potterton netaheat 6/10no controll?

if the controller/programmer is in the off position then it's impossible to work even with a faulty motorised valve unless the programmer is faulty, have you got a frost stat somewhere, this will bring the heating on even when everything else is turned off, if this is the case then turn the frost stat to zero.

im answering my own question i delved further into this forum and found a question relating to the same problem the suggestion there was possibly a motorised valve sticking a sharp tap on the valve seemed to solvle the problem only time will tell if i need to change the valve or not but i would like to thank all the people who take time to answer questoins its certainly helped me
