Mend Sony XBR960 Television Picture

Television outputting constant flickering picture?

My sony 34 inch xbr 960 tv is constantly flickering on all modes of output. It flickers when there is no input at all. What should I do to fix this, it happened suddenly. It looks and sounds like the picture tube is going to burn out. Please help?

You might just have a fault with the TV, or there might be some sort of motor spinning near it, this is because a motor contains magnets, which should not be near a TV at all, other than that, I don't know.
