The door on my miele wt 745 will not close

If your door is not latching shut, check the catch and latch assembly to ensure no parts are broken. Observe the lock light, if it does not turn on you may need a new latch assembly and or machine control board, to reduce this down to one component if you hear the door attempting to lock but does not you have a bad door latch. good luck/
