Mend Ariston microGENUS 23/27 MFFI Boiler Gas Valve Heating

ariston microGENUS 23/27 MFFI not igniting?

The boiler's pump and fan come one. The electrodes spark, the clicks are audiable. After about ten seconds or so the process stops and the red light comes on. this can be repeated by pressing the reset button. Why does the boiler not burn? The gas valve gets the 230 volts supply and the 9 volts for the solinoid. Is there any other possibility than that the gas valve might be faulty? would be grateful for any suggestion,

sounds like the gas valve solenoid isn't lifting. new gas valve req, job for a qualified engineer.
