Why would anyone want to de activate a switch put there for your safety & piece of mind. If it leaks & you don't notice it then your floor will be ruined. If it is leaking fix the leak. If the switch is causing problems spend a few dollars & buy a new switch. Far cheaper than replacing your floor.

Normally its a piece of polystyrene that sits close to a switch at the bottom when the polystyrene gets wet it expands then pushes the switch to indicate water. Removing the polystyrene shuld fix it but it is indicating that theres a leak.
