My hotpoint aquarius dishwasher is cutting out! Can you suggest anything?

My hotpoint aquarius dishwasher keeps cutting out midcycle and all the lights go off. If I push the door they go on again and the wash continues but it happens again a few minutes later. Its as if there is a loose connection with the door! Has anyone had similar and can help at all? Thanks
