Mend Lead Stopped Working

How can i fix a mains lead on a fridge ?

my dog has eaten through the mains lead of the fridge and has stopped the fridge working and wanted to know if i would change the plug by stripping the lead back and putting a normal plug on ?

Yes you can so long as you wire the terminals correctly. If you are not sure which colour wire goes where, don't guess. Ask someone to tell you.

No problem - so long as the wire is long enough. Just connect the blue wire to the plug neutral, the brown to the plug live, and the green and yellow to the plug earth terminal. Use the same value of fuse as the original one. I wonder if Fido survived?
