megane heater controlls ?

hello i am in serious bother i have an 04 reanult mrganr an the in side heating dosent work. i have the top of the rage model and the heating is all computer the lights are coming on but the small screen is not lighting up so the heating is stuck at the same temp all the time i woul love it i could fix this prob thanks

Top range with digi heater controls fail the same as normal controls.the resistor which controls heater speed burns out.I have done loads of these and the digi ones can be done by only removing the instrument cluster and undoing the 1 torxs 20 screw which holds it in.these are dearer than normal reisistors but the labour time of not taking out the dash is cheaper.(bet renault quote the same times tho).the digi ones do not have a modified wiring plug as do the other type. easy repair done in 20 mins hope this helps before winter.
