Mend Ideal Classic XLFF/FF Heating Fault Thermostat

no hot water?

The boiler is an ideal classic xlff or ff it fires up but the boiler keeps clicking very slightly in sound as if it is trying to light the pilot.
I have just changed my room themo as it stopped clicking when turned and now lights up when switched on but soon
go's off when all switched on but no hot water going anywhere.
can anyone help me please...
