Sounds really daft but close the air vents in the car, I belive the there is a pressure sensor on the roof lining in side the car, looks like two little speekers, 1cm across. These will pick up strong winds outside that pass throught the vent.
May work, if not, sorry but a trip to the garage may be needed.
