washer will not advance to agitate or advance to spin?

my frigidaire washer stackable model number fex831c50, will not advance to agitate or spin. I can turn it over to spin and it will spin the water out, thank the Good Lord. We have replaced the water valve and the timer, with no luck. Would appreciate any help, even the repairman cannot figure it out.
