Vaillant boiler will not ignite?

I have the same problem with a thermo compact VC GB282EH. So far all the pcb's have been changed, the entire gas section changed and the air pressure switch. But when the boiler is cold, like first thing in the morning, the lock out comes on. Getting engineers from BG and Vaillant have not helped because they do not know the cause.

i have got the same problem.it just doesn't ignate!what could it be?no hot tab woter no heating..any suggestions?

thanks kengas, we all know that the official engineers should know what they are doing, but if it is intermittant, and unless they have the experience to have had similar/same reports, they have no idea, Vaillant responded quickly to my e-mail, but no help, the official engineer, and i am sorry if you are one of them, fits parts in the attempt of getting it right eventually, so here i am hoping someone had the same prob, and found the answer

We had one of these intermittant Lock-out Turbomax boilers, turned out to be a sticking Gas Control Valve
New Valve and no more problem

do you find it locked out first thing in the morning? needing a reset.
The older ones used to have a flame senseing electrode on the far right burner rail which you could turn to point to rail 3 or whatever and that used to solve the problem.
depends what your problem is tho, if it fires but locks out, see if your boiler has the above,
