My Candy AQ130 washing machine has stopped working. HELP!?

My Candy AQ130 Aquaviva 1300 spin washing machine has stopped working. It fills with a bit of water but does not start spinning or kick into the program selected. I have checked the water outlet pipe and connections and they all seem okay. I desperately need some advice as I cant afford to buy a new one and I've got school uniforms to wash. Please help if you know the answer :0) Thanks

It could just be the motor brushes worn, if it is over 4 years old and never had new brushes in the motor, I would look at getting them checked
