How can i fix my ws machine zanussi 800 model ?

Hi, i have a zanussi 800 washing machine which is giving me problems with its water inlet cycle. Water keeps on filling up the drum , till a water a pressure is caused on the porthole. with the result of water leaking out. Can anyone lead me to what is causing this problem. Tks

where the filter is there is a pressure chamber on the back of it inside the casing and these get blocked with slime and powder.find this chamber and clean it out should solve overfilling
