Mend Combi Boiler Cold Water Pressure

Ho water is some times intermittent and a trickle?

My downstairs shower is now a trickle and intermittently comes out completely cold. The upstairs bath is similar, and I was advised the reason it's so i sbecause there's not enough pressure going into the combi boiler. I've contacted the water company with no joy, and a bit at my wits end as to what's causing this
