how can i find the code for my 1993 peugot 205 radio cassette?
I have just bought a second hand Peugot 205(1993) and it has it's original radio/cassette(Clarion)and I need a code to get it to work and I haven't got one. The LCD display shows 123 and a small 4 and I am at a loss as to what to do,the last owner didn't use the radio so can't help me,this is a genuine question and I can provide all documents to prove that the car and radio are mine. Can you help?

What do we do if we don't want to spend £20? My car is very old and it just isn't worth spending that much on it. I recall seeing a method for working out the code on a 306 with a modern radio/CD; is there a similar method for old models?

I'm having the same problem with my Ford, bought yest. Go to your nearest Peugeot servicing dealership, they should be able to issue a new code for about £20.
