HOW DO I REMOVE THE TOP OF MY HOTPOINT DRYER?

I need to replace the door switch in my hot point dryer. I would like some help removing the top off the dryer to get acces to the door switch.

not on some models- top is also held in place by two screws at front end - ?

Remove two screws from the rear of the top panel, then slide the whole of the top backwards for about 3/4 of an inch. The top can then be lifted off.
