how can i fix my veritas 8c alarm system?

We have a veritas alarm and I need to disconnect it as it is going off all the time and waking family up. In the loft there is the box for the alarm is it safe to just disconnect the wiring or can that cause a problem?

TAMPER oh no 24 hr basicly means tamper it can go off anytime when unset check all the sensors in corners of rooms open them and there should be a spring strech everyone on the pir's if that dosent do anything then go up to your bell box out side and check no loose wires and there should be a tamper switch or spring check them and do the same for pir's check loose wires if this does nothing check the main panel for anything stretch the spring if that dosent do anything either maybe battery replacement inside the house and maybe outside if theres a battery to the bell box if changing the battery dosent do anything then take the tamper away on the panel there will be a terminal called tamp take the tamper wires out of there and loop it with a piece of wire try them steps get back to me if that helps thanks death
