Mend Suzuki X2000 Cutting Missing Engine

suzuki baleno cutting out ?

my x2000 suzuki baleno 1.6gs keeps cutting out & missing a bit when warm . The ' check engine ' light comes on , then if you leave it for half an hour and start it up again the lights go out & it runs as if nothing had happened . Then once it gets warm , same thing happens all over again ! any help please ? thanks in advance .
