Mend JVC KD-G331 Bought Second Hand

how can I fix my JVC KD-G331?

I cannot make my JVC working. I bought a second hand car with the JVC in it. The radio works poorly and I cannot make CD working as no CD can be inserted. The car battery went off at some point. Could it be the cause of the problem? How can I fix it?
