I have had a Vaillant Ecotec Plus 428 installed but my timer which I had for the old boiler doesn't seem to be working. Do I need to get a Vaillant controller/timer, or would any make be ok?
depends what sort of level of control you want over the heating and the make & model of your new boiler. i'd tend to stick to acl / drayton controls personally as they're relativley cheap, easy to fit and easy to use and can be wired into most heating systems
